The Electronics Research Institute, headed by Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, a workshop entitled “Practical Applications of Public Contracting”, in cooperation with the General Authority for Government Services, as a culmination of a series of training programs that were organized in the fields of public contracting, warehouse management, and government vehicle operation control management, for the two years in the various institute departments for private and public staff. In cooperation with the General Authority for Government Services.
Dr. stated. Sherine Abdel Qader said that organizing the workshop was based on the Institute’s interest in developing the financial and administrative work system, ensuring the efficiency and good management of the Institute’s budget, which reflects positively on the quality of research and administrative work. To achieve the strategic goals of the Institute, she pointed out that the workshop aims to develop the capabilities of employees in the Institute’s various departments related to the legal and practical rules and procedures in government contracts.
As confirmed by Dr. Sherine Muharram stressed that the training comes within the mechanisms for implementing the institute’s strategy towards achieving comprehensive quality in the performance of services and administrative procedures, pointing to the importance of this workshop and previous courses in the same field, noting the importance of benefiting from the training content obtained in improving the level and quality of service and timings. specified time frame.
The head of the institute explained that the workshop included several topics, including: how to prepare the annual needs plan - practical applications on how to prepare and design the annual needs plan - approval of the needs plan from the competent authorities - practical simulation of the original and exceptional contracting methods and the formation of various committees.
Present at the workshop activities were Mr. Tharwat Zarad, Director of the Small Projects Department, Mr. Issam Rashad, Director of the Training Center, and Mr. Mohamed Samir, Director of the Automotive Department.
It is worth noting that the training series for the institute’s employees aimed to train 25 trainees from private and public staff, over the course of three training courses, through joint cooperation with the General Authority for Government Services, in the institute’s training halls equipped with the latest training methods

Within the framework of enriching the educational process and improving the level of university and higher institute students in order to obtain a qualified graduate for the requirements and needs of the labor market, the Electronics Research Institute developed the skills and capabilities of a group of students from the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University through a training program in the field of antenna design and manufacturing.
The training program included providing students with the skills of how to design various antennas using the CST and HFSS programs.
The students implemented many projects in which many antennas were designed with different feeds, such as Coplanar antenna, Antenna Array, RF Power Divider, and MIMO Antenna System.
In order to develop the students’ research and development skills, they were trained on how to read research papers, benefit from their results, and how to write them. This is in addition to designing and implementing one of the research papers published in international periodicals and manufacturing it in the institute’s laboratories, where students participated in the manufacturing process to learn about the complete steps and measure the antenna using the institute’s measuring devices, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), and verify the results of the research paper and compare them to the simulation results. The results obtained were consistent with the results mentioned in the research. The training was conducted by researcher Allam Amin
